Communication is imperative and something we strive to maintain throughout the settlement process.  This ensures all parties are aware of what is happening at each stage of the dealing.

The biggest question most consumers want an answer to is HOW MUCH will settlement costs be?!  As of 1st May 2016 all settlement fees were deregulated, there is no longer a scaled fee.  GST & general office disbursements are now included in Our Professional Service Fee.  3rd party costs are charged accordingly.  Each settlement is different so I urge you to contact me directly to discuss your individual settlement needs.  A quote for your specific requirements will be provided to you as soon as possible.

Once you have chosen VJM Settlements to act on your behalf ensure we are nominated on your Contract for Sale or  let your Real Estate Agent know and they will send through the necessary paperwork through to the office.  On receipt of the paperwork we will send some initial documents to you for signing. We will outline any contract conditions that are required to be met and keep you informed once the conditions are met and your contract becomes unconditional.

If you are going away at any time before the settlement date, please let us know so we can arrange documents to be prepared and signed before you leave.
